Days of Our Lives star Arianne Zucker has accused the soap opera's manufacturing firm of sexual harassment.

Zucker, 49, named Corday Production Inc. and government producer Ken Corday in a Wednesday, February 7, lawsuit, claiming that she and a number of other ladies have been sexually harassed on the set of Days. In response to courtroom documents obtained by Us Weekly, Zucker is suing the production company for discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination.

Zucker claimed that she was topic to "sexually harassing feedback" and "nonconsensual physical touching or a sexual nature," during her tenure on Days of Our Lives. (She has starred as Nicole Walker since 1988.) Zucker also accused TV director Albert Alarr of creating such comments and claimed that Corday was aware of the alleged misconduct.

"From the onset of Alarr's employment, he repeatedly subjected [Arianne] and different staff to extreme and pervasive harassment and discrimination, together with sexual harassment, based mostly upon their female gender," courtroom paperwork learn. "Specifically, on a continuous basis,  and in furtherance of his intent to harass and discriminate towards Plaintiff based mostly upon her gender, Alarr subjected Plaintiff to sexually harassing comments and nonconsensual physical touching of a sexual nature."

Zucker also reportedly witnessed Alarr, 67, harassing other ladies and making sexually charged comments.

"Alarr, Corday and Ken Corday handled female staff disproportionately than male staff," Zucker claimed. "Female hair and make-up staff and feminine actresses have been typically berated and given duties that have been purposefully unimaginable to perform inside the given time-frame. Alarr typically yelled at female staff, in the presence of Plaintiff, bringing them to tears. Alarr did not yell or berate the male staff. A feminine actress complained to Alarr that she was morally uncomfortable a few certain scene,  and was subsequently fired  by Corday and Ken Corday."

A spokesperson for Days denied Zucker's claims.

"The allegations in Ms. Zucker's lawsuit are without benefit. Corday Productions provided to renew Ms. Zucker's contract including providing her a pay improve. Rejecting Ms. Zucker's counteroffer doesn't represent retaliation," the rep informed Us. "Complaints about Mr. Alarr's on-set conduct have been promptly investigated. Corday Productions absolutely cooperated with the impartial investigation and subsequently terminated Mr. Alarr."

Zucker, in the meantime, claimed that she "feared coming forward" out of the prospect of retaliation or being blackballed from the business. She famous that five ladies have been "inexplicably fired" or give up Days because of the culture of harassment and discrimination.

In March 2023, Zucker shared her complaints concerning the offensive comments and alleged unequal pay with Corday, who seemingly "flippantly handed the buck" to his coworkers to handle. She further claimed that the network did not try to guard the soap stars from additional harassment at the time.

Zucker's contract with the production firm expired in January and Corday allegedly refused to negotiate her wage when she was introduced a new deal. She was then allegedly "terminated from her employment."

"Because of the illegal conduct of Defendants, Plaintiff has experienced and continues to experience excessive," the docs add. "[Arianne] was thus pressured to work underneath insupportable and unlawful circumstances and in a hostile work surroundings, despite her complaints and protests."

Zucker's lawyer, Anahita Sedaghatfar, reiterated her shopper's claims in a press release shared with Us.

"I'll add that Ms. Zucker did what we tell all ladies who experience harassment to do, and that's to report it. Ms. Zucker did just that and was the voice for different ladies who have been too scared to return ahead," Sedaghatfar stated. "Quite than condone her bravery, Ms. Zucker alleges that Corday retaliated towards her and since she spoke out she has misplaced a job she was devoted to for 20 years. As a part of this lawsuit we'll seek to ensure that Corday offers sexual harassment coaching to its staff and hires an intimacy coordinator to be on set for sex scenes."
