CBS radio hosts Boomer Esiason and Gregg Giannotti have found stay on air that their producer booked the incorrect Randy Moss.
The WFAN duo have been expecting to welcome NFL Hall of Famer Moss to their show on Tuesday.
Boomer and Gio are at present in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII and have been excited to welcome the six-time Pro Bowler to the program.
But following a bizarre mixup, veteran producer Al Dukes had by chance booked the mistaken guest.
The pair revealed they aren't broadcasting from radio row in Vegas, and Gianotti was impressed that Moss would take the time to hitch them.
He requested Dukes what the previous Minnesota Vikings wideout was "selling" by coming on the present.
"One thing having to do with horse racing," came the reply from Dukes.
"Are you positive this isn't the other Randy Moss?" requested Gio in response.
"Is there another Randy Moss?" requested a nervous Dukes, who was informed there was an NBC horse racing announcer with the identical identify.
The penny dropped virtually instantly among the crew, who realized Dukes had booked the incorrect Randy.
"You booked the white Randy Moss!" Giannotti shouted whereas laughing at Dukes.
"You booked the improper one, you fool!" Boomer yelled.

"By the best way, I do just like the broadcaster Randy Moss, he's a very good man, he loves horse racing.
"However I can't wait to hear you call them back and say, 'We're gonna need to cancel.'"
An exasperated Dukes seemed again at his emails and famous the PR firm for Moss had asked if he needed a "headshot and bio."
"[I'd replied], 'No, we all know who Randy Moss is,'" he added.
Fans have been in hysterics at the trade, which shortly went viral on social media.
"This is what makes the present nice," stated one fan.
"Producer must be fired," joked another.
"Truthfully, how did he mess up quite this badly?!" laughed a third.
The footage even reached NFL legend Moss himself, with followers begging him "to go on the present."
"Some1 GOT MOSSED," chuckled the wideout on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
