Queen Elizabeth II appearing in the clouds on tv is wild even by WWE standards.
On Friday Night time SmackDown this week, tag team Pretty Deadly – made up of Englishmen Package Wilson and Elton Prince – have been making an attempt to hype each other up once they have been impressed by a surprise cameo from the late monarch, who died aged 96 in September 2022.
Within the skit, the two superstars have been sat by a lake with Package feeling down within the dumps as he nursed his injured fingers after last week's match towards Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate.
Elton tried to cheer his pal up, and even pointed to a cloud that appeared identical to the Queen – and certainly, a picture of her face was visible within the sky, with regal music and a gleaming smile.
He referred to her as Lizzie, earlier than turning his consideration to his good friend's damage, insisting Pete Dunne must be ashamed and telling his companion they need to show exactly what they will do.
It was a weird phase, with fans shocked by the reference to the Queen and her face showing in the clouds.
