Andy Cohen's legal professionals are claiming that former The Real Housewives of New York City star Leah McSweeney's bombshell lawsuit towards him is "affected by false, offensive, and defamatory statements."
Page Six obtained a letter on Thursday, March 7, which was despatched from Cohen's lawyer to McSweeney's authorized workforce, asking for a retraction relating to sure claims concerning the Bravo boss.
"We demand that you simply immediately retract and withdraw all allegations referring to Mr. Cohen's purported 'cocaine use,'" Cohen's lawyer, Orin Snyder of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, wrote, noting that McSweeney's claims have been "categorically false."

The lawyer also addressed McSweeney's authorized workforce head-on.

"It won't. As an alternative, this conduct only subjects you and your shopper to unbiased and substantial legal exposure."
The notice continued to state that McSweeney's "purpose for inventing the false allegations in the first place" was "to create a media frenzy and strain in an try and drive a settlement."
McSweeney's lawyer responded to Cohen's letter in a press release obtained by Us Weekly.
"That Andy Cohen had his counsel and PR agents write a threatening letter to offer to the press is hardly shocking. Mr. Cohen is accustomed to utilizing his energy within the media to scare and intimidate individuals like Ms. McSweeney so that they will not converse out," the assertion read.
