Melissa Gorga and Luann de Lesseps are the newest Housewives to return to Andy Cohen's protection towards the claims made by Leah McSweeney's lawsuit.
"I've been to non-public social dinners with Andy a number of occasions. [He's] all the time respectful, all the time applicable," Gorga, 44, stated on the Thursday, March 7, episode of her "On Display With Melissa Gorga" podcast. "Pay attention, is Andy a enjoyable man? Sure in fact he is. It's why everyone knows and love him. He's a character."
Gorga shared that she believes Cohen, 55, "would by no means" supply any of his employees or the Real Housewives stars "any sort of drug." De Lesseps, 58, agreed that she didn't consider the allegations towards the Bravo exec, either.
"I've recognized Andy for a long time… because the very beginning. Like I stated, it's been 16 years and it's just not his character," De Lesseps stated. "He's not going to be that stupid to start out offering issues to Housewives."

Gorga and de Lesseps have been referring to the current allegations McSweeney, 41, made towards Cohen and Bravo. The Real Housewives of New York alum filed a lawsuit in February claiming that the community pressures its stars to eat alcohol whereas filming.
Whereas filming RHONY, McSweeney was sober and needed to stay on that path. She claimed producers pressured her to drink and "deliberately failed to offer affordable lodging that may assist her efforts to remain sober and capable of perform," per courtroom docs obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.
