Stars like Carrie Underwood and Ellen DeGeneres made positive their furry pals felt like they have been a part of the household as they acquired ready to trade their vows.
When DeGeneres married actress Portia de Rossi in a backyard ceremony in 2008, the women had their two rescues, Mabel and Wolf, serve as visitors of honor. The couple have since adopted canine Augie and cats Charlie, George, and Chairman.
Two years later, Underwood enlisted dog Ace for a particular position in her July 2010 nuptials with hockey star Mike Fisher.
"He'll be one of the ring bearers," Underwood stated ahead of the large day. "He's like my child."
