Scott Parker's dream start as Burnley manager continued with a 5-0 thumping of Cardiff at Turf Moor. After opening their season by drubbing fellow relegated side Luton 4-1 away, the goals continued to flow, with an early own goal by Cardiff keeper Ethan Horvath followed by goals from Luca Koleosho, Josh Brownhill, Zeki Amdouni and Johann Berg Gudmundsson. Parker, who took over from Vincent Kompany this summer, said: 'I know five goals have gone in, but I'm probably more pleased with the way the team dealt with the start and how we nudged and kept jabbing our way to a point where we can execute and go and win the game.
