Crystal Palace have stepped back into the race to sign Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah. Oliver Glaser's side are offering a season-long loan with an obligation to purchase next summer but face they competition. Nottingham Forest had appeared close to agreeing a deal to sign the one-cap England international before talks stalled, leading them to turn their attention to Feyenoord's Santiago Gimenez. Marseille had also shown an interest in Nketiah earlier in the window but Roberto De Zerbi's side instead moved for Elye Wahi from Lens.
