Gary Neville is feeling more optimistic about Man United this season but insists injuries cannot be an excuse if it turns out to be another disappointing campaign. United host Fulham in the opening game of the Premier League season on Friday night and their fans will be hoping it is the start of a much more positive campaign than last time around. The Red Devils are coming off the back of a season that was blighted by injuries and off the field problems, culminating in their lowest ever finish in the Premier League (eighth).
