Man United duo lead six-man shortlist for PFA Young Player of the Year award - as Arsenal star Bukayo Saka looks to seal back-to-back honours
Manchester United youngsters Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho join Cole Palmer and Bukayo Saka in being finalists for the PFA Young Player of the Year award. The six-man shortlist, which also includes former Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise and Brighton's Joao Pedro, was announced on Monday following a vote by the members of Professional Footballers' Association. The 2024 prize is particularly competitive, given the output of the nominees last season, though Palmer will be considered the favourite after his stunning debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.
