Manchester United have been offered Manuel Ugarte on loan from PSG with an obligation to buy but the asking price is still too high. United value the Uruguay international around £42m while PSG want £51m. Ugarte was not involved in PSG's Ligue 1 season opener against Le Havre last Friday amid the latest transfer speculation. As it stands, PSG remain happy to proceed with a sale of Ugarte, but they are unwilling to lower from their £52m valuation, which is how much they paid Sporting to sign him in July last year.
