Roberto De Zerbi has once again led the praise for Mason Greenwood after he scored twice on his Marseille debut with a suggestion that his on-field performances could help him. Greenwood took just three minutes to open his account in Marseille's season-opening trip to Brest. He had his second goal inside 30 minutes after he won - and then scored - a penalty. The former outcast at Old Trafford was the first signing made under ex-Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi - who also joined the club this summer after leaving Brighton following their last game of the 2023-24 season - and he repaid the faith to make it 1-0.
