Napoli open talks with Man United over Scott McTominay 'as they close in on Brighton midfielder Billy Gilmour'
Napoli have opened talks with Manchester United for Scott McTominay. The Italian club would prefer a loan deal for the 27-year-old Scotland midfielder as their transfer budget doesn't stretch to United's asking price of £25-30m. Premier League rivals Fulham had a bid of £20m rejected last month. McTominay's contract at Old Trafford expires in 11 months and he has also been linked with the likes of Tottenham and Fulham this summer.
