Another Olympic taekwondo final and another difficult night at the pyjama party. For the third Games in succession a British man fought for gold and to the silvery frustrations of Lutalo Muhammad in Rio de Janeiro and Bradly Sinden in Tokyo we can add Caden Cunningham in Paris. He didn't lead into the very last second as the other two had done. But he was ahead through one round of his heavyweight showdown against Iran's Arian Salimi and then, having lost the next, he was dead even half a minute from the end of the decider.
