Alex Greenwood admitted that 'sometimes you have to win ugly' after her side edged past Brighton. Last season's WSL Golden Boot winner Bunny Shaw netted her first of the season in the 44th minute and that proved enough to secure the win. 'We got the job done,' said Greenwood. 'Sometimes in this league you have to win ugly. 'I thought off the ball we were better. We have worked really hard on that, and I thought we saw an improvement.
