The 58-year-old lawyer, media personality, and sports executive has been leading a consortium of potential investors in talks with current Rovers ownership. The proposed takeover only needs regulatory approval from the English Football League to be completed, according to The Athletic. Tacopina did not immediately respond to DailyMail.
