A former Premier League footballer has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a terrifying car crash. The 43-year-old played for West Ham, Fulham and Leicester during his six-year stay in England between 2006 and 2012. He called time on his playing career in 2016 and has since moved into coaching. John Paintsil is now Ghana's assistant manager, and was travelling with national team boss Otto Addo and goalkeeping coach Fatawu Dauda back to Ghana's capital city, Accra, on Saturday after watching a national cup final when their Toyota Land Cruiser collided with a pick-up truck.
