Adrian Newey, 65, was on Tuesday rewarded for his status as the greatest car designer in the sport's history by signing a five-year deal with the upwardly mobile Aston Martin team, as well as taking a 2.5 per cent share in a company worth more $1billion. 'A bargain,' Aston's owner Lawrence Stroll told himself.
