ESPN hires Cam Newton to join Stephen A. Smith on First Take
Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton is set to join ESPN's First Take, it has been revealed. The Hollywood Reporter claims Newton, who spent the majority of his 11-year career with the Carolina Panthers, will make his debut at Tennessee State's football game this Friday as part of First Take's HBCU roadshow. The morning sports talk show, which is hosted by Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim and also features the likes of Shannon Sharpe and Chris 'Mad Dog' Russo, is one of the network's most popular programs.
