Leicester lock Ollie Chessum will miss England's autumn opener with New Zealand and likely the national squad's entire November campaign due to a knee injury. Chessum suffered the problem in training at England's preparation camp in Girona last week. It is another fitness blow for the 24-year-old after he missed the summer tour matches with the All Blacks following surgery on both his thumb and shoulder. Chessum, who has captained his club and showed fine form for Michael Cheika's Tigers this season, would have been firmly in contention to start against New Zealand.
