Luke Littler suffered a shock exit from the first round of the World Grand Prix Darts on Thursday night as he lost 2-1 to Rob Cross. The 17-year-old had been the favourite for the tournament in Leicester but was beaten on his debut to mark another disappointing episode. He has now been knocked out at the first hurdle for two major tournaments in a row, having been dumped out of Matchplay by Michael van Gerwen 10-6 in July.
