Simone Biles has been outspoken for nearly a year in coming to her husband, Chicago Bears' defender Jonathan Owens' defense over his past comments, with the Olympian vowing to continue to do so. Biles doubled, if not tripled down, on her stance on her man, who previously stated he did not know who she was before they dated, and eventually married. Many fans found Owens' comments hard to believe because he is an athlete.
