The bizarre reason Georgia football's live mascot Uga won't travel to Texas for mega college matchup
One of the most recognizable members of Georgia's football program has four legs in the team's live bulldog mascot, Uga, who has his own dog den on the sidelines of Sanford Stadium in Athens. Uga XI, whose real name is Boom, is in his second season as the live Bulldogs mascot, but will miss this weekend's mega-clash on the road against Texas. The bizarre reason behind it reportedly has nothing to do with a previous Uga's near-death encounter with the Longhorns' live mascot, Bevo, the last time the teams played in 2019.
