Damon Hill reveals he and former rival Michael Schumacher 'HATED each other' on the 30th anniversary of the seven-time world champion's maiden title
On the 30th anniversary of Michael Schumacher's inaugural Formula One World Championship title his former rival Damon Hill has revealed that the two shared a mutual hatred. Both Schumacher and Hill shared a fierce battle for the title in 1994, with the latter stepping into the lead Williams car following the tragic death of Ayrton Senna at the San Marino Grand Prix. The result of the battle was a controversial one, with both Schumacher and Hill colliding at the season-ending Australian Grand Prix with both in contention to win, only for both to collide and retire.
