Legendary college football coach Jim McElwain retires after 40-year career

Central Michigan University head football coach Jim McElwain has announced that he will be retiring at the end of the season after a 40 year career. McElwain, 62, has been coaching college football in some capacity since the mid-1980s, but will call it a career once CMU's season ends on November 30 against Northern Illinois. The Chippewas have a record of 4-7 and have already been eliminated from bowl contention.
