The BBC are reportedly contemplating having a revolving cast of presenters for Match of the Day, instead of replacing Gary Lineker with a sole candidate. On Tuesday, it was confirmed that Lineker would leave the flagship football show at the end of the season, after 25 years as host. The 63-year-old is thought to have volunteered to take a mammoth pay cut of £350,000-a-year from his current £1.35million salary, in order to stay in the role.
