When Havard Sakariassen talks about the dark days, he is referring to the tough times at Bodo/Glimt not the Norwegian winter when the sun doesn't rise for months and the Northern Lights can be seen from the club's Aspmyra Stadion 120 miles north of the Arctic Circle. The days when there was about as much chance of encountering a real-life troll as playing Manchester United in Europe.
