The Portuguese press have hailed Ruben Amorim after Sporting Lisbon thrashed Manchester City 4-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday. Amorim, 39, was confirmed as Manchester United's new boss last Friday, but he won't start work until Monday, November 11. The highly-rated coach has had a major impact with Sporting over the past four-and-a-half years, leading the club to two Primeira Liga titles and two domestic cups.
