Legendary Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has resigned as the director of his personal company. His business, ACF Sports Promotions Ltd has accumulated £24.3m in assets and investments. Some of those assets include a sporting memorabilia collection estimated to worth over £2m which is on display in various museums and universities. The business also has a £19m investment portfolio and cash reserves of £5.1m. Ferguson had launched the company in 1983 when he was manager of Aberdeen, three years before he would go on to start his 26-year Man United reign.
