Vikings rookie JJ McCarthy faces heartbreaking complication as he recovers from knee injury
There is more bad news for injured Minnesota Vikings rookie JJ McCarthy. The first-year quarterback had a second knee surgery on his right knee to address swelling that occurred during his ongoing rehab, according to ESPN's Kevin Seifert. Back in August, it was confirmed that the 21-year-old would miss entire rookie season after he required a full meniscus repair in his right knee. Now, McCarthy has gone under the knife for a second time in a matter of months.
