The Pro Football Hall of Fame revealed the 2025 finalists who could be Canton-bound Tuesday but one controversial name on the ballot raised eyebrows - and it's not the first time. Former Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Jim Tyrer, a six-time All-Pro and member of the AFL all-decade team for the 1960s, was nominated in the Seniors category for players whose careers ended before 1999. Tyrer was considered a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame at the time of his retirement.
