CNY Central sports reporter Ashley Wenskoski was likely preparing to ask questions at a postgame press conference on Saturday, when she got asked out by a college football mascot instead. During the fourth quarter of Syracuse's upset victory over then-No 6 Miami on Saturday, Wenskoski had a date offer from Sebastian the Ibis, the mascot for the Hurricanes' football team. The 24-year-old Wenskoski posted to social media about the bizarre situation before the scoreboard read all zeroes.
