NBA star Jaylen Brown fined over throat slash gesture

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has been fined $25,000 by the NBA after making a throat slash gesture towards an opponent on court. Brown, who helped the Celtics win the NBA Championship last season, made the gesture towards the Detroit Pistons' Isaiah Stewart on Wednesday. And two days on from the game, the 28-year-old has now been hit with a hefty fine by the league. NBA executive vice president and head of communications Joe Dumars announced on Friday that Brown is being penalized over the 'inappropriate' gesture he made in Boston's clash with Detroit.
