Rio Ferdinand has suggested that it would be a 'monumental' achievement if Liverpool manage to keep all three of their out-of-contract stars after the summer transfer window. Captain Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah are all potential departures from Anfield this summer, with less than six months left on their deals before they can leave as free agents in June 2025. Mail Sport reported on Sunday that the club have had made initial contact with Salah over a new contract offer, but the Egyptian star is not thought to be close to coming to an agreement with the Reds over extending his time on Merseyside.
