Jim Harbaugh to undergo critical medical procedures after season ends in defeat
After being eliminated from the playoffs, Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh will be undergoing some medical procedures in order to address his health. Per Kris Rhim of ESPN, Harbaugh will be receiving a cardiac ablation and will get hip replacement surgery. A cardiac ablation is a minimally invasive procedure that is intended to stop or prevent cardiac arrhythmias - or irregular heartbeats. Earlier this season, Harbaugh had to leave his team's Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos due to an atrial flutter - or an abnormality in the heart beat.
