Joseph Parker will be stripped of his WBO interim world heavyweight title just one second into his clash with Daniel Dubois, regardless of the result, the governing body has announced. Parker is the current WBO interim champion, having won the title after defeating China's Zhilei Zhang back in March 2024, previously holding the full title between 2016 and 2018. Yet with Dubois the current IBF champion, Parker will see his temporary title stripped from his waist the second the fight continues as he is unable to challenge for another belt.
