It may not have been the Card of the Century – let alone in boxing history – by the time all those expensive fights got to the ring. Not with the withdrawals and a health-risking miss-match. But The Last Crescendo – as it was oddly entitled since there is much more coming up here – did produce one classic for the ages as well as a British contender for Fight of the Year which contained what may well stand as the best round of 2025.
