Tottenham ended a run of four straight Premier League defeats by battling to a 2-0 win at Brentford on Sunday. Spurs broke the deadlock in the 29th minute when a wicked inswinging corner kick from Son Heung-min resulted in Vitaly Janelt scoring an own goal. Substitute Pape Matar Sarr then found the net late in the second half to wrap up Tottenham's first win in eight Premier League matches. The result saw Ange Postecoglou's side climb up to 14th place in the Premier League table.
