A Championship clash between Oxford United and Portsmouth was paused for half an hour following a medical emergency in the crowd. Gary Rowett's side welcomed Pompy to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday looking to get back on track after failing to win their last three league games. However, shortly after kick-off the game the game was suspended while medical staff attended to a supporter in the stands. Both teams were ordered off the pitch as a treatment continued, before Oxford provided an update via social media noting that the fan was now in a stable condition in hospital.
