Mackay Cutters player Ethan Tomas Cocco has been charged with rape and sexual assault. The Queensland rugby league player, appeared at Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday where his charges were read out. The 21-year-old has also previously represented Queensland at age-grade level and has played for Cronulla Sharks. He was accused of raping a woman at an address in South Mackay on two separate dates in January. He has also been accused of indecently assaulting the woman on one of those occasions.
