Former British Olympian Roger Black has revealed he was forced to undergo open heart surgery last month. Black, 58, enjoyed a glittering athletics career, winning two gold medals at the World Championships, while he also won silver at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in the 400m. Black was similarly part of the 4x400m relay team that came second at the games, while he won bronze in the same event at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
