In February 2020, Weinstein, 72, was convicted of a criminal sexual act in the first degree and rape in the third degree. More than 100 people made allegations of sexual harassment or rape against the film producer, kickstarting the Me Too movement which shone a light on sexual violence not just in the film industry, but worldwide.
