Taut-faced Madonna wears original Desperately Seeking Susan jacket on 40th anniversary
Madonna donned the original jacquard jacket from her big-screen debut Desperately Seeking Susan on the 40th anniversary of the cult classic's release in theaters while attending a fashion show benefit on Saturday. The 66-year-old Queen of Pop was reportedly 'not a fan' of the 1950s cropped tuxedo jacket by costume designer Santo Loquasto, which caused the mistaken identity that is central to the film's entire plot. 'I'm going to exploit your [sense of style] totally because we're all fascinated by it and you're comfortable with it,' Loquasto recalled telling Madonna in a CNN interview last week.
