A star of one of childrens TV's most iconic shows has reflected on her famous role, over 25 years after the series first hit screens. Actress Danielle McCormack, 41, starred in the beloved CITV series My Parents Are Aliens, which focused on two extraterrestiral beings who crash-landed on earth, and fostered three child in a bid to disguise themselves as humans. The hilarious show aired on the channel from 1999 to 2006, and in the show, Danielle played punky teenager Melanie 'Mel' Barker.
