Chesney Hawkes has revealed he chose to go on Celebrity Big Brother after his best friend urged him to 'take life by the horns' before passing away the next day. The singer, 53, appeared on FUBAR Radio's showbiz programme Access All Areas, and got candid with hosts Bobby Norris and Ellen Coughlan. The One and Only hitmaker, who had previously turned down chances to go on the show, said: 'I'll be very honest, my best friend passed away earlier this year, and it's obviously [an] incredibly tough time for me.
