Lilo and Stitch surfed the big wave to the top of the box office over the Memorial Day weekend. The family friendly Disney film easy cruised past Tom Cruise and his Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, in spite of threats from some fans to boycott the film for being 'woke.' The live-action tale starring Hannah Waddingham, Zach Galifianakis, Tia Carrere and an adorable Maia Kealoha as Lilo, had earned an estimated $145.
