2026 NFL mock draft roundup: Experts predict Jets-Giants trade at No. 1

2026 NFL mock draft roundup: Experts predict Jets-Giants trade at No. 1

We're down to the final three weeks of the NFL regular season. More teams have seen their playoff hopes ended with crucial losses in December.

That leaves many with questions heading into the offseason. For some - onlyNew YorkandTennesseeat time of publishing - that means a new coaching staff with a few other vacancies potentially set to open up.

Even before those teams sort out their coaching staffs for next season, fans are likely already thinking ahead to the 2026 NFL Draft.

This draft was viewed as a marquee class for quarterbacks as recently as four months ago. That's changed but there are still multiple passers who could be top-10 picks as things currently stand.

But where will they land and how will the first round shake out? We've tapped CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, Pro Football Focus and Sporting News for their input in our latest mock draft roundup.

Here's what they had to say ahead of Week 16:

1. Tennessee Titans – Arvell Reese, LB/DE, Ohio State <p style=2. New York Giants - Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State

2026 NFL mock draft: Proposed trade for No. 1 overall pick

2026 NFL mock draft roundup

1.New York Giants

CBS Sports: QB Fernando Mendoza, Indiana (traded to New York Jets)

Sports Illustrated: LB Arvell Reese, Ohio State

Pro Football Focus: QB Fernando Mendoza, Indiana (traded to New York Jets)

Sporting News: LB Arvell Reese, Ohio State

Sports Illustrated:"If theGiantsstand pat, Reese ... makes sense. The 6' 4", 243-pounder wrecks games as both an on-ball edge defender and off-ball inside linebacker due to his explosiveness, violence and instincts. He'd give the Giants one of the best front sevens in the NFL."

Pro Football Focus:"The Jets package their No. 7 overall pick, one of their three first-round selections in 2027 and a pair of second-round picks to move up and secure a potential franchise quarterback in Mendoza...he draws comparisons to Jared Goff — a quarterback this Jets coaching staff knows well, with several members having previously worked with Goff in Detroit."

2.Las Vegas Raiders

CBS Sports: QB Dante Moore, Oregon

Sports Illustrated: QB Fernando Mendoza, Indiana

Pro Football Focus: QB Dante Moore, Oregon

Sporting News: QB Fernando Mendoza, Indiana

CBS Sports:"What Moore lacks in experience, he more than makes up for in calm aesthetics. He throws a beautiful football and is throw-for-throw the most accurate quarterback in this class. No one had more perfectly placed passes outside the numbers in this class than Moore. While he hasn't faced many top defenses or faced a ton of pressure, it's easy to see him developing into something special in the NFL."

SB Nation:"TheRaiderscan't be happy with their quarterback situation post-Derek Carr, with Geno Smith and Kenny Pickett screaming that they need to go after a true, strong, accurate franchise passer solution. Mendoza looks the part with his arm and intangibles, two things that should appeal to the influence of Tom Brady."

3.Tennessee Titans

CBS Sports: Edge Rueben Bain Jr., Miami

Sports Illustrated: Edge Rueben Bain Jr., Miami

Pro Football Focus: Edge Rueben Bain Jr., Miami

Sporting News: Edge Rueben Bain Jr., Miami

Sports Illustrated:"Dre'Mont Jones, who Tennessee dealt to theRavensat the trade deadline on Nov. 3, is still tied for second on the Titans with 4.5 sacks. Tennessee sorely needs another pass rusher, or two, to help defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. Bain is the draft's best pure edge defender, pairing elite power with quick hands and a deep bag of moves to dominate offensive linemen on passing and rushing downs. He's a high-floor player who should be an early difference maker at the next level."

Sporting News:"The Titans also don't need a QB after taking Cam Ward No. 1 overall last year, but they can go back to the Hurricanes program to get the game-changing pass-rusher they desperately need for their latest defensive reboot."

4.Cleveland Browns

CBS Sports: WR Carnell Tate, Ohio State

Sports Illustrated: OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami

Pro Football Focus: WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State

Sporting News: WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State

CBS Sports:"Tate is the kind of vertical X receiver the Browns offense has been missing. He hauled in a ridiculous 11 of his 15 deep targets for 453 yards this fall. His 14.4 yards per target is an eye-popping figure. Most importantly, though, he didn't drop a single pass all season."

Sports Illustrated:"Cleveland can't put all of its eggs in the rookie quarterback basket—and certainly not with its current roster. The Browns need to elevate the ecosystem around their quarterback. Adding Mauigoa, a strong, mauling right tackle who may kick inside to guard at the next level, is a good place to start."

5.New York Jets

CBS Sports: WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State (traded to New York Giants)

Sports Illustrated: QB Dante Moore, Oregon

Pro Football Focus: WR Carnell Tate, Ohio State (traded to New York Giants)

Sporting News: QB Dante Moore, Oregon

CBS Sports:"Jaxson Dart goes from having scant receiving options to arguably the most fully loaded receiving corps in the NFL with this pick. Tyson is a crafty, all-around route runner who creates more space for himself than anyone in the class. His only concern is his injury history that's caused him to miss time in three straight seasons."

Sporting News:"Moore has the leadership and intangibles to handle being the next shot at a franchise QB in New York as well as the savvy and strong arm. They also need to get a real long-term option after the Justin Fields flop."

6.Arizona Cardinals

CBS Sports: OT Trevor Goosby, Texas

Sports Illustrated: OT Spencer Fano, Utah

Pro Football Focus: OT Spencer Fano, Utah

Sporting News: RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame

CBS Sports:"It was an up-and-down first season as a starter for Goosby, but by season's end there wasn't a better offensive lineman in college football. He was the best player on the field in Texas' upset win over Texas A&M to cap off the regular season. He also has experience on the right side in 2024, as he'd have to flip to that side in Arizona."

Pro Football Focus:"Paris Johnson Jr. is firmly entrenched as Arizona's franchise left tackle, but the Cardinals still need a long-term answer on the right side. That makes Fano a strong fit, as the Utah right tackle owns a 92.2 PFF grade since 2024 — the best among all offensive tackles in the country."

7.New Orleans Saints

CBS Sports: Edge David Bailey, Texas Tech

Sports Illustrated: RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame

Pro Football Focus: LB Arvell Reese, Ohio State

Sporting News: WR Makai Lemon, USC

Sports Illustrated:"New Orleans should target interior offensive linemen during the offseason, but with Mauigoa off the board, there are no viable options in the top 10. The Saints have the NFL's sixth-worst rushing offense, and second-round rookie quarterback Tyler Shough has made impressive strides despite a limited ground game. Love is the draft's top offensive weapon and No. 2 player on Sports Illustrated's big board due to his speed, contact balance and versatility—he'll be a game-changing, three-down player at the next level."

Pro Football Focus:"The Saints desperately need a young cornerstone in their front seven, with linebacker Demario Davis and edge defender Cameron Jordan nearing the ends of their careers. They find one here in Reese, a versatile defender capable of playing both linebacker and edge, similar to last year's first-round selections Abdul Carter and Jalon Walker. Reese's eight sacks are tied for fourth among all linebackers nationally, and he's paired that production with an impressive 84.5 PFF run-defense grade."

8.Washington Commanders

CBS Sports: LB Arvell Reese, Ohio State

Sports Illustrated: S Caleb Downs, Ohio State

Pro Football Focus: S Caleb Downs, Ohio State

Sporting News: S Caleb Downs, Ohio State

Pro Football Focus:"The Commanders have fielded one of the NFL's three lowest-graded defenses for three straight seasons and badly need true difference-makers on that side of the ball. Downs fits that need perfectly, as he's arguably the best player in the entire draft class. His 93.5 PFF grade since entering college in 2023 leads all Power Four safeties and highlights the rare impact he could bring to Washington's secondary."

Sporting News:"The Commanders need to get younger and more impactful in their defense after things fell apart in their secondary and around Bobby Wagner at linebacker. Downs is a terrific do-everything hybrid who would be set up to make a lot of big plays in Dan Quinn's scheme."

9.Cincinnati Bengals

CBS Sports: S Caleb Downs, Ohio State

Sports Illustrated: CB Mansoor Delane, LSU

Pro Football Focus: Edge David Bailey, Texas Tech

Sporting News: DT Peter Woods, Clemson

Sports Illustrated:"Delane is the draft's best cornerback, and his elite instincts and route anticipation enable him to thrive in both man and zone coverages. The 6' 0", 190-pound Delane has above-average ball skills, with two interceptions and 11 pass breakups this season, and is a physical, willing tackler in run support. He's the complete package and should start as a rookie."

Pro Football Focus:"The Bengals are the only defense in the NFL ranking bottom-five in both run-defense grade and pass-rush grade, making the need up front impossible to ignore. After selecting edge defender Shemar Stewart in the first round last year to help stabilize the run defense, Cincinnati can add real pass-rush juice with Bailey. The Texas Tech product leads the nation with a 92.9 PFF overall grade, a 93.5 pass-rush grade, 74 total pressures and 14 sacks."

10.Los Angeles Rams(viaAtlanta Falcons)

CBS Sports: QB Ty Simpson, Alabama

Sports Illustrated: CB Jermod McCoy, Tennessee

Pro Football Focus: CB Mansoor Delane, LSU

Sporting News: CB Jermod McCoy, Tennessee

CBS Sports:"The Rams won't be drafting top 10 anytime soon as long as Sean McVay is their head coach. Because of that, they may take a swing on their next franchise quarterback to apprentice Matthew Stafford in the meantime. Simpson has shown flaws of late in his first season as a starter, but there's more than enough flashes from him to get excited about what he could become."

Sports Illustrated:"McCoy didn't play this season due to a torn ACL sustained in January, but his buzz hasn't diminished. He's quick-footed, fluid and made four interceptions in 2024, his lone full season at Tennessee after transferring from Oregon State. The Rams have a glaring need, and McCoy has the talent to fill it."

11.Miami Dolphins

CBS Sports: TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon

Sports Illustrated: WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State

Pro Football Focus: CB Jermod McCoy, Tennessee

Sporting News: OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami

CBS Sports:"Sadiq's mixture of speed, YAC ability and physicality in the run game is perfect for Mike McDaniel's offense. He'd be like a souped-up version of Jonnu Smith for them. Athletes like Sadiq are perfect for today's NFL, which so often asks tight ends to block on the move."

Pro Football Focus:"While Rasul Douglas has been excellent for Miami this season, he's 30 years old and set to hit free agency, and the Dolphins still need more long-term help at cornerback. McCoy missed the entire year after tearing his ACL in January, but his 89.6 PFF coverage grade as a sophomore in 2024 ranked top-10 among FBS cornerbacks."

12.Kansas City Chiefs

CBS Sports: OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami

Sports Illustrated: TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon

Pro Football Focus: Edge Keldric Faulk, Auburn

Sporting News: TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon

CBS Sports:"Given how this season ended for the Chiefs, the front office may very well want to make sure Patrick Mahomes is never in the firing line behind a UDFA offensive tackle again. Mauigoa would pair with Trey Smith on the right side to create one brutish double-team combo."

Pro Football Focus:"As they begin a reset, the Chiefs address the defensive line with the selection of Keldric Faulk — a toolsy, ascending prospect who is still developing as a pass rusher but has posted an 89.0 PFF run-defense grade since 2024."

13.Minnesota Vikings

CBS Sports: RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame

Sports Illustrated: DT Peter Woods, Clemson

Pro Football Focus: RB Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame

Sporting News: CB Mansoor Delane, LSU

Sports Illustrated:"Projected as a potential top-five pick entering the season, Woods didn't have the campaign most expected, finishing with 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. But he's a rangy, laterally quick interior defender who can kick outside if necessary and has a motor that routinely runs hot. Woods has the talent to warrant an earlier selection."

14.Dallas Cowboys

CBS Sports: LB Sonny Styles, Ohio State

Sports Illustrated: Edge Keldric Faulk, Auburn

Pro Football Focus: Edge T.J. Parker, Clemson

Sporting News: Edge David Bailey, Texas Tech

CBS Sports:"Styles is the perfect linebacker for a Matt Eberflus defense. He's not a great blitzer, but Eberflus doesn't send linebackers much. What Styles is is an elite tackler (didn't miss one tackle all season) who has the best range at the second level in the draft class."

Sporting News:"The Cowboys will go to work on replacing Micah Parsons' pass rush production with this Lubbock chess piece who has all the moves to get to the quarterback as well as unique dropback coverage ability for the position."

15.Baltimore Ravens

CBS Sports: OT Spencer Fano, Utah

Sports Illustrated: Edge David Bailey, Texas Tech

Pro Football Focus: DT Peter Woods, Clemson

Sporting News: Edge Keldric Faulk, Auburn

CBS Sports:"The Ravens guard position has been among the worst in the NFL this season. Fano would change that with his fleet feet and quick hands. He starts at right tackle now for the Utes but looks better suited for the interior in the NFL."

Pro Football Focus:"The Ravens desperately need help along their defensive front, as their 59.9 defensive line grade ranks 10th worst in the NFL. Woods would immediately bolster that unit, bringing an impressive 88.2 career PFF grade across three seasons at Clemson."

16.Carolina Panthers

CBS Sports: CB Jermod McCoy, Tennessee

Sports Illustrated: LB Sonny Styles, Ohio State

Pro Football Focus: WR Makai Lemon, USC

Sporting News: LB Sonny Styles, Ohio State

Sports Illustrated:"Starting linebacker Christian Rozeboom is on a one-year contract, and the Panthers need to upgrade the middle of their defense regardless of Rozeboom's future in Carolina. Styles is a unique prospect. At 6' 4" and 243 pounds, he's big and incredibly athletic—he transitioned from safety to linebacker in the spring of 2024, and he's surprisingly ahead of the curve with blitzes and block deconstruction. Styles has the size, speed and skill to be an early starter, and he's still adjusting to playing linebacker, which gives him an intriguing ceiling."

Pro Football Focus:"The Panthers continue to build around Bryce Young, pairing last year's top X-receiver Tetairoa McMillan with the best slot receiver in the class, Makai Lemon. The Biletnikoff Award winner leads all FBS wideouts with a 90.7 PFF grade and paces the Power Four with 1,156 receiving yards."

17.Detroit Lions

CBS Sports: Edge Keldric Faulk, Auburn

Sports Illustrated: CB Avieon Terrell, Clemson

Pro Football Focus: OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami

Sporting News: Edge Cashius Howell, Texas A&M

Sports Illustrated:"The Lions have invested significant capital at cornerback in recent offseasons, but amid injury issues and subpar performances, they're back in position to address defensive back once more in 2026. Terrell, the younger brother of Falcons corner A.J. Terrell, is a tremendous competitor, which should appeal to Lions coach Dan Campbell. He's also a fluid cover man with the route anticipation and body control to mirror routes."

Sporting News:"Howell can give the Lions the needed strong complementary pass rusher for Aidan Hutchinson to relieve their secondary coverage a lot more next season."

18. New York Jets (viaIndianapolis Colts)

CBS Sports: DT Peter Woods, Clemson (traded to New York Giants)

Sports Illustrated: WR Carnell Tate, Ohio State

Pro Football Focus: WR Denzel Boston, Washington

Sporting News: CB Avieon Terrell, Clemson

CBS Sports:"The last time an uber-strong defensive tackle from Clemson fell in the draft, it turned out fairly well for the Giants. You couldn't find Woods outside the top five in a mock draft prior to the season, but a disappointing junior campaign that saw him register a career-low 15 pressures could cause him to slip."

Pro Football Focus:"The Jets already landed what they hope is their franchise quarterback in Fernando Mendoza, so continuing to build around him makes plenty of sense. Boston's 88.2 PFF grade ranks sixth among FBS wide receivers this season, and his 6-foot-4 frame would complement Garrett Wilson perfectly as a true boundary presence."

19.Tampa Bay Buccaneers

CBS Sports: IOL Olaivavega Ioane, Penn State

Sports Illustrated: LB CJ Allen, Georgia

Pro Football Focus: LB Sonny Styles, Ohio State

Sporting News: Edge R Mason Thomas, Oklahoma

CBS Sports:"The NFC is trench warfare, and the Bucs are just adding reinforcements here. Ioane was the best true guard in the country this fall, as he was lights out in pass protection all season. He allowed only four pressures on 310 pass-blocking snaps."

Sports Illustrated:"With 14-year veteran Lavonte David's playing future in question and general upgrades needed at the second level, Tampa Bay should prioritize linebacker in the spring. Allen brings a steady presence, and at 6' 1" and 235 pounds, he's a tough, physical tone-setter. Allen finished second in the SEC with 85 tackles this season, and he added 3.5 sacks and four passes defensed—a nod to his versatility as a blitzer and coverage piece."

20.Pittsburgh Steelers

CBS Sports: WR Makai Lemon, USC

Sports Illustrated: QB Ty Simpson, Alabama

Pro Football Focus: QB Ty Simpson, Alabama

Sporting News: QB Ty Simpson, Alabama

CBS Sports:"The Biletnikoff Award winner slots into an offense in desperate need of a reliable No. 2 receiver. Lemon may be the most reliable receiver in the entire draft class with only a 2.8% drop rate for his entire career."

Sporting News:"The Steelers should be in the market for a starting QB early if Aaron Rodgers retires and Simpson's brand of pocket passing would provide plenty of promise."

21.Philadelphia Eagles

CBS Sports: DL A'Mauri Washington, Oregon

Sports Illustrated: CB Brandon Cisse, South Carolina

Pro Football Focus: CB Avieon Terrell, Clemson

Sporting News: IOL Olaivavega Ioane, Penn State

CBS Sports:"Defensive tackle may not qualify as a need for the Eagles, but they will continue to pound the trenches as long as Howie Roseman is the GM. Washington is exactly the kind of player Roseman has coveted in his GM tenure: a big, freaky athlete. Washington's first step is elite for a 330-pounder and can be a problem in the right scheme."

Sports Illustrated:"The Eagles have a high-level outside corner in Quinyon Mitchell and a standout nickel in Cooper DeJean, but they could use an upgrade at the starting spot opposite Mitchell. The 6' 0", 196-pound Cisse ranks among the draft's biggest risers. He's a high-level athlete with tremendous long speed and the short-area foot quickness to match receivers' mannerisms during routes. He'll become a more prominent name during the pre-draft process, but the true junior's early draft declaration elevated the corner class."

22.Houston Texans

CBS Sports: LB C.J. Allen, Georgia

Sports Illustrated: IOL Olaivavega Ioane, Penn State

Pro Football Focus: OT Kadyn Proctor, Alabama

Sporting News: OT Spencer Fano, Utah

Pro Football Focus:"The Texans need to keep investing heavily in their offensive line, which remains the roster's biggest weakness. The versatile Proctor would offer that help and has finally translated his elite traits into production, as he has earned an 84.9 PFF grade that ranks seventh among all tackles in the country."

Sporting News:"The Texans have gotten surprising returns from rookie Aireontay Ersery and the rest of their rebuilt line but should be in the market to boost pass protection and run blocking at either right tackle or guard with Fano."

23. Dallas Cowboys (viaGreen Bay Packers)

CBS Sports: CB Mansoor Delane, LSU

Sports Illustrated: OT Caleb Lomu, Utah

Pro Football Focus: LB CJ Allen, Georgia

Sporting News: Edge T.J. Parker, Clemson

Sports Illustrated:"The Cowboys have battled injuries to their offensive line and would benefit from adding depth overall, but, health aside, they will need to upgrade at right tackle. Lomu needs to fill out his 6' 6", 308-pound frame, but he's a twitchy, smooth-footed, technically sound pass protector who flashes generating movement as a run blocker. A two-year starter at left tackle, Lomu has the skill set to stick on the blindside—but he's the Cowboys' best bet at this spot."

Sporting News:"The Cowboys shouldn't mind doubling up on pass-rush help here with Parker and Bailey, as Parker can provide more traditional burst and finishing moves from defensive end to help Quinnen Williams in Matt Eberflus' front four."

24.Buffalo Bills

CBS Sports: WR KC Concepcion, Texas A&M

Sports Illustrated: WR Makai Lemon, USC

Pro Football Focus: Edge Cashius Howell, Texas A&M

Sporting News: DT Kayden McDonald, Ohio State

CBS Sports:"The Bills finally get a Stefon Diggs-esque separator for the first time since his departure from Buffalo."

Pro Football Focus:"Bosa has been productive for the Bills this season, but with the 30-year-old set to hit free agency, Buffalo may need a long-term answer off the edge. Pairing Greg Rousseau with Cashius Howell — whose 12 sacks are tied for third among all edge defenders in the country — would give the Bills a young, high-upside pass-rushing duo to build around."

25.Chicago Bears

CBS Sports: OL Kadyn Proctor, Alabama

Sports Illustrated: DT Kayden McDonald, Ohio State

Pro Football Focus: DT Kayden McDonald, Ohio State

Sporting News: DT Christen Miller, Georgia

Sports Illustrated:"The Cowboys have battled injuries to their offensive line and would benefit from adding depth overall, but, health aside, they will need to upgrade at right tackle. Lomu needs to fill out his 6' 6", 308-pound frame, but he's a twitchy, smooth-footed, technically sound pass protector who flashes generating movement as a run blocker. A two-year starter at left tackle, Lomu has the skill set to stick on the blindside—but he's the Cowboys' best bet at this spot."

Sporting News:"The Bears need to work on their interior for Dennis Allen's front and Miller would be ideal to help them with their own run-stopping problems."

26.Los Angeles Chargers

CBS Sports: DT Kayden McDonald, Ohio State

Sports Illustrated: Edge Cashius Howell, Texas A&M

Pro Football Focus: IOL Olaivavega Ioane, Penn State

Sporting News: DT Caleb Banks, Florida

Sports Illustrated:"The Chargers have greater needs on their interior offensive line, but the value doesn't align here. Los Angeles should extend Tuli Tuipulotu this offseason, but it also faces free agency questions with Odafe Oweh and Khalil Mack. Howell, the SEC Defensive Player of the Year after recording 14 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks, would give the Chargers youth, twitch and violence off the edge. At 6' 2" and 249 pounds, Howell will be knocked for his size and isn't an elite run defender, but he should make an early impact on passing downs."

Pro Football Focus:"The Chargers' offensive line has been among the league's worst this season, largely due to injuries to Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, but interior help is still badly needed. Ioane fits that need perfectly, as the Penn State left guard owns an 87.3 PFF pass-blocking grade in 2025, allowing no sacks or hits and just four total pressures across 310 pass-blocking snaps."

27.San Francisco 49ers

CBS Sports: IOL Emmanuel Pregnon, Oregon

Sports Illustrated: WR KC Concepcion, Texas A&M

Pro Football Focus: OT Caleb Lomu, Utah

Sporting News: WR Carnell Tate, Ohio State

CBS Sports:"Pregnon is an explosive athlete at left guard who's had a breakout season for the Ducks. His ability to play on the move would be perfect for a Kyle Shanahan scheme. He's allowed only three pressures all season."

Sports Illustrated:"San Francisco doesn't have a receiver with over 500 yards, though Jauan Jennings and Kendrick Bourne are within five yards of the threshold, and Ricky Pearsall isn't far behind. But the 49ers don't have a go-to receiver and should add more talent to the room in the spring. The 5' 11", 190-pound Concepcion can align in several different spots presnap, and he's a twitchy, athletic weapon who's dangerous after the catch. He's also a tremendous punt returner, which only helps his cause."

28. Cleveland Browns (viaJacksonville Jaguars)

CBS Sports: OT Caleb Lomu, Utah

Sports Illustrated: WR Denzel Boston, Washington

Pro Football Focus: OT Gennings Dunker, Iowa

Sporting News: OT Caleb Lomu, Utah

Sports Illustrated:"Boston, who is 6' 4" and 210 pounds, is one of the draft's best above-the-rim receivers, and he's a quality route runner and competitor. Boston can win vertically, but his game is more predicated on physicality, instincts and post-catch playmaking rather than speed. He'd be a nice complement to Jerry Jeudy, who's under contract through 2027."

Pro Football Focus:"The Browns need to keep building out the offensive ecosystem around whoever ends up under center long term. After selecting Tyson in the top five, Cleveland reinforces the offensive line with Dunker, whose 89.4 PFF grade over the past two seasons ranks fifth among FBS tackles and makes him an ideal fit for Kevin Stefanski's outside zone–heavy scheme."

29.New England Patriots

CBS Sports: Edge T.J. Parker, Clemson

Sports Illustrated: Edge Matayo Uiagalelei, Oregon

Pro Football Focus: Edge Matayo Uiagalelei, Oregon

Sporting News: WR KC Concepcion, Texas A&M

CBS Sports:"Parker is yet another disappointing Clemson defensive lineman. He was in the top 10 of most mock drafts during the preseason but saw his pressure total fall from 51 last year to 41 this year. There's still a lot to like from him in the run game, but his lack of high-end juice could cause him to fall."

Pro Football Focus:"Between Harold Landry III and K'Lavon Chaisson, the Patriots still lack a true difference-maker off the edge. Uiagalelei has the profile to fill that void, ranking sixth among Big Ten edge defenders with 41 pressures this season and offering New England much-needed juice in its pass rush.."

30.Seattle Seahawks

CBS Sports: CB Avieon Terrell, Clemson

Sports Illustrated: CB Colton Hood, Tennessee

Pro Football Focus: CB Colton Hood, Tennessee

Sporting News: CB Brandon Cisse, South Carolina

Sports Illustrated:"Riq Woolen and Josh Jobe are both slated to hit free agency in the spring, and Seattle will need reinforcements on the perimeter. Hood, a Colorado transfer, took over as the Volunteers' top corner and flourished amid McCoy's absence. The 6' 0", 195-pound Hood is loaded with transitional quickness and recovery speed, and he often stays in phase as a result. Hood, who made one interception and eight pass breakups this season, is a quality cover corner with plenty of upside."

Sporting News:"The Seahawks didn't trade pending free agent Riq Woolen and will need to find their strong replacement outside to support Devon Witherpoon. Cissee can be seamless in the scheme of Mike Macdonald."

31. Los Angeles Rams

CBS Sports: OL Carter Smith, Indiana

Sports Illustrated: OT Kadyn Proctor, Alabama

Pro Football Focus: QB Garrett Nussmeier, LSU

Sporting News: OT Kadyn Proctor, Alabama

CBS Sports:"Smith is one of the unsung stars on the No. 1 Hoosiers team. He's been dominant on the left side all season, especially in the run game. He's a left tackle for the Hoosiers, but I could see him slotting in on the right side or inside for the Rams."

Pro Football Focus:"With the Rams' second first-round pick, they could start planning for life after Matthew Stafford, who will be nearing 38 despite playing at an MVP level. While 2025 was a disappointing season for Nussmeier, his 85.9 PFF grade over the past two years suggests he has the talent to be a strong long-term fit in Sean McVay's offense, especially if given a year or two to develop behind a veteran."

32.Denver Broncos

CBS Sports: Edge Kenyatta Jackson, Ohio State

Sports Illustrated: LB Anthony Hill Jr., Texas

Pro Football Focus: TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon

Sporting News: LB C.J. Allen, Georgia

CBS Sports:"Jackson is one of the most intriguing athletes in the draft class. His blend of length, strength, explosiveness and flexibility is what the elites in the NFL look like. His down-to-down effectiveness, though, is not close to what the elites look like. The good news is we've seen progress from him, especially when reduced down on the interior."

Sports Illustrated:"The Broncos have won 11 consecutive games and have few holes on their roster, but adding more talent to the middle of their defense should be an offseason focus. Hill, a projected top-15 pick this past summer, is an explosive, sideline-to-sideline linebacker at 6' 3" and 238 pounds, and he's been successful in his blitz opportunities, too. Hill is a touch late to read-and-react at times on rushing downs, but his collection of size, speed and versatility is a strong foundation to build upon."
