Amy Schumer's famous friends are offering their love and support.

On Dec. 12, the 44-year-old comedian shared that she and husbandChris Fischer, who share 6-year-old sonGene David, aregetting a divorce.

"Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years," Schumer wrote onInstagramalongside a photo of the pair riding the subway. "We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son."

"We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time. blah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag s basket and not because he's a hot Janlmes beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail," she continued. "Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever."

In the comments, Schumer's famous friends — includingSharon Stone,Olivia Munn,Sophia Bush,Andy Cohenand many more — were quick to show their support.

While Stone, 67, left a few clapping emojis in the comments, Munn, 45, joinedDebra Messing,Leslie Mann,Linda Evangelistaand more in commenting simple red heart emojis.

For her part, Bush, whofinalized her own divorce from Grant Hughesearlier this year, wrote, "It's so damn hard without having it be hard for the world to see… so when the world sees I'll just say be extra gentle with yourself. All love."

A source close to Schumer and Fischer, who have been married since February 2018, exclusively told PEOPLE of their split, "There's nothing ugly. It's a cohesive split. They've just been finalizing a few things."

Although speculation surrounding their relationship had been circulating online in the weeks prior, a source previously told PEOPLE on Nov. 13 that "they are both committed to the relationship."

On Dec. 1, Schumer alsoshared an update on her and Fischer's relationshipon Instagram.

"Whatever ends up happening with me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism," Schumer wrote while sharing an update on herrecent health journey. "Fingers crossed we make it through. He's the best."
