King Charles reportedly wants this Christmas to be special in case it's his last.
His Majesty's health "isn't the best" and he's "taking it day by day" as he undergoes cancer treatment.
Charles will spend Christmas with the rest of the royals—including Kate Middleton and Prince William—in Sandringham.
King Charles reportedly believes this holiday season could potentially be his last, and is determine to make the most of it. A source tellsUs Weeklythat "Charles prioritizes duty, but he's also a family man who knows his time is precious. He wants a special last Christmas in case it's his last."
His Majesty plans to join the rest of the royals on their annual Christmas walk, will record his speech, and will spend the rest of the day with the family. "Nothing would stop Charles from doing that," a source said of the speech. "He will do everything expected of him and more. His health isn't the best. They're taking it day by day."
A source also says that "The celebration may carry a wistful tone, however, it will also be a time of celebration, especially after Kate received the all-clear. They all want to make the most of their time together."
Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like the royals are including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their Christmas plans—and apparently they're still upset that the Sussexes attended Kris Jenner's celeb-packed birthday party. More on that below.
