Aiden Ross was crowned the winner of season 28 of The Voice

On Tuesday, Dec. 16, theTeam Niallcontestant was announced as the season 28 ofThe Voice,making the "Heaven" singer an undefeated coach.
"You're a really down-to-earth, lovely guy who's gifted. I wish you the best, bud," Niall Horan told Ross before he was crowned.
Earlier in the show, Ross thanked Horan for believing in him. "The most important thing he's taught me is to love what I'm doing and be glad that I'm doing it. Love you, man," Ross said.
Ross was up against fellowTeam Niallcontestants DEK of Hearts,Team Reba's Aubrey Nicole,Team Snoop's Ralph Edwards andTeam Bublé's Jazz McKenzie and Max Chambers.
The 20-year-old from College Station, Texas, earned the first four-chair turn of the season during his blind audition with Adele's "Love in the Dark."

"It was literally like you had written the thing. When you hit some of those bigger notes, you hit them with ease and that makes me excited now that you're 155% on the show and you're going to be on Team Niall obviously," Horan, 32, who won on seasons 23 and 24, said after his audition.
"I've worked with similar voices to yours and had some success on the show previously. If you don't pick me, I wish I could turn this chair around and never turn it again," Horan joked.
At the time, Ross — who's a Texas A&M student — wrote a heartfelt message to his coach onInstagram.
"I'm speechless," he began. "So blessed to be able to share such a special moment with you guys, the best is yet to come! Thank you@niallhoranfor taking a chance on me, let's get busy. Thanks, and Gig'em 😉"
